Cavallino Rampante

Legend has it that an image of a rearing horse was emblazoned on Italian fighter pilot Francesco Baracca’s plane as a reminder of his time in the cavalry. After his fatal crash in Austria in 1918, the image was sent to his parents and later given to Enzo Ferrari as a good luck charm. These Gommino moccasins by Tod’s for Ferrari are proof of just how little the logo has changed in all that time.
