Frankfurt Fashion Week: Fashion meets automotive and sustainability
When electric vehicles from Polestar and sustainable fashion meet, the result is what? Fast fashion of the sustainable kind. At least for one week, when Frankfurt is all about the Fashion Week and transforms the city center of the metropolis in style. Hauptwache
The »Runway B(eautiful) Level« is the walk-in fashion magazine of Fashion Week. In cooperation with the BFF Professional Association of Freelance Photographers and Film Designers, more than 555 images by international photographers were screened. 71 works by 25 photographers will be on display - and, of course, accessible - on the B-level of the Frankfurt Hauptwache subway stop until February 10, 2022.
Downtown
Twelve different locations in the city center - from the Ralf Kellenberger studio to the Hayashi fashion house and the Hilton Frankfurt City Centre to the Massif Central bookstore - are showing works by Frankfurt photographer Helmut Fricke under the title »Helmut Fricke FASHION.« He photographed all the catwalks of the world for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, from Milan to New York to Paris. His images are on display until February 27, 2022.
Polestar Space
In the showroom of the Swedish premium electric brand, designer Christine Fehrenbach presents the exhibition »Transforming Frankfurt Fashion - The Frankfurt Fashion & Design Forum« from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day until Jan. 20. Her curated exhibits range from garments to sneakers and accessories. This will also be broadcast via livestream. In addition, so-called shop window talks with the exhibiting designers will take place from 2 to 3 pm.
Webinars and Livestreams
Along with the on-site events, numerous webinars and presentations will be held. As well as a webinar on the opening day, talks on art and fashion are also planned.
