A simple number sequence: 1-12-4-9-2-11-6-7-3-10-5-8. What sounds like a challenging riddle that you might expect to find on an IQ test is actually the timing scheme of a symphony: the "Ordine Di Accensione", i.e. the firing order of the naturally aspirated V12 engine in the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae. With it now an era comes to an end: Because the free-suction V12 engine, the epitome of what has shaped the engineering artistry in the engine design at Lamborghini (as otherwise probably only the company founder himself has), finds in what is probably its final form in the Aventador Ultimae: pure, precise and consistently drawn with a sharp edge. Completely in the sense of the brand DNA. And in the best tradition of Countach, Diablo, Murciélago and Aventador.
It is an arrivederci for the ages. Just please, please, please no tears.

Really Fast

This is a story full of ups and downs, starting with our author almost not being allowed into Italy to drive the Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano. Which would have made for a lot of frustration and certainly a lot of noise on what is now an international day of screams of frustration. All went well, of course.
