Rocket Science II: Caran d’Ache Astrograph

This isn’t a shuttle. Nor is it a lava lamp. What we have here is the Astrograph, a writing instrument from Caran d’Ache that was created in cooperation with watch manufacturer MB&F. The fountain pen with gold nib consists of ninety-nine polished, rhodium-plated individual parts manufactured in more than five hundred separate working steps. A tiny astronaut is also included.
