They say too many cooks spoil the broth. Numerous, well-chosen influences, on the other hand, can only be good - for example, when a Japanese automaker in France develops new vehicles with a British design director. This was the case with Toyota and the Aygo X, which was designed by Lance Scott and his team in Nice. The result from the EDD style center? Tastes good. Distinctly characteristic, but at the same time harmonious and varied. To be more precise, it tastes like cardamom, chili, ginger or juniper - these are the different exterior colors of the Aygo X.

However, the new city crossover is not only characterized by the finely selected color & equipment inspiration, but also by a special design: close to the Aygo X prologue study, the series version features a dynamic wedge shape, the two-tone contrast paint finish and a dynamic roof line. The design's central theme is a double trapezoidal shape - with a striking front. The design was based primarily on a detailed market survey. The result: European customers expect a car with a modern design that combines a strong appearance with small external dimensions. And in his workshop at Autostyle, Lance Scott will be explaining exactly how this can be achieved tastefully.

Like last year, the 18th edition of Autostyle, which is supported by ram, will be held digitally - enabling interested parties from all over the world to attend after registering. Let's talk about lasting effects. Marlon Brando achieved this not only with the sentence above in the film "The Wild One" - it was Brando's dry answer to the question of what he was rebelling against - but also with his look.

Reeves Reloaded

Keanu Reeves has established a reputation as an action star and in recent years has gained an almost cult-like following for his genuine likeability. Oddly enough, it is precisely this combination that has allowed the fifty-seven-year-old actor to maintain something that can’t be faked: coolness.

Of quaking and living: Kurt Molzer rides the '69 Charger R/T

Since Kurt started writing for ramp again and driving these insane, up to 1,000 horsepower supercars, he's been losing more and more touch with and interest in normal life - according to himself. What helps? Hopefully this completely normal madness behind the wheel of a 1969 Dodge Charger.

The fabric of dreams: Alcantara at Autostyle 2021

Beautiful, lightweight and often found in fast cars: that's Alcantara. You could also say: The somewhat different fabric. The microfiber multi-talent is not only suitable for motorsports, but also has fashion and astronomical potential - as Filippo Taiani shows us at Autostyle 2021.
